Over the last ten years, community enterprise has gained momentum as a strategy to assist in the development of sustainable communities, particularly in disadvantaged neighbourhoods in need of renewal. Individuals and groups in countless towns, cities and suburbs across Australia have established community enterprises in response to identifiable community needs.
